The Partnership and Ownership initiative (ParOwn) is the first in a series of initiatives launched by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and State for Scientific research in order to promote Excellency in Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The initiative aims at supporting "young" Staff or Researchers with a "Travel Grant" of three to six months in order to: acquire knowledge in certain domain (retraining), acquire new teaching methodologies, inititaite joint research.
