Databases and Content

One of the main features provided by the Egyptian S&T Portal is the bibliographic databases of the Egyptian S&T literature; such database currently contains 218000 records, it is impressive as it covers the entire Egyptian production of English-language journal literature, a good portion of university theses, conference proceedings and technical reports, which can be accessed electronically.

Each database record contains full bibliographic data in addition to a decent abstract. On the other hand, it enhances the idea of Digital Library by linking the abstracts with the Full-Text Documents. It is a well organized system with easy access to journal articles scanned as published. It covers Bio-Medical Sciences, Agriculture & Related Technologies, Pure Sciences, Engineering and Applied Operations
